Oh, hi! Welcome to all things me! I've been working in publishing for ages and ages. I was a children's book editor for nearly a decade, and began writing professionally in 2004. Since then I've written over 50 published works, including critically-acclaimed original fiction, novelty formats for younger readers, and bestselling commercial novels for teens and tweens. I received my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and can often be found teaching workshops in writing for young readers. These days I'm usually writing creepy stories for older teens. Or writing funny stories for early readers. Or drinking too much coffee and spending too much time taking photos of my dog.
My latest releases are the final installment in the chapter book quartet Louise Trapeze, LOUISE TRAPEZE WILL NOT LOSE A TOOTH *(no way!), and the bestselling RIVERDALE tie-in novels from Scholastic. I’m also writing the current season of RIVERDALE comics from Archie Comics.
I live and work in Brooklyn, NY, alongside my Emmy Award-winning husband and our two daughters. It's pretty much the best.
